Thomas Robinson Building - Stourbridge
Thomas Robinson Building - Cemetery Road, Lye, Stourbridge DY9 8AH.
Originally built in 1879, the former Lye and Wollescote Cemetery Chapels building is beautiful. It has been lovingly restored and is now home to Dudley Registration Service. It's stunning exterior and interior provides a traditional setting for your special day and provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.
The Thomas Robinson Building is in a super location and is a popular choice for couples getting married in Stourbridge.
I have photographed several weddings here; this is just a small selection of photographs from one of them. Here is Frankie & Ryan’s August Wedding for you to take a look through….
The Ceremony Room, known as the Wollescote Suite has capacity for 58 wedding guests. The former chapel offers a civil marriage in a traditional style setting, with its wonderful stained glass windows and beautiful wooden arched doorways creating a picturesque back drop for wedding photographs.
As you drive up to the registry office there is a tree lined drive that gives a romantic and traditional feel. It can also provide some welcomed shelter on a rainy wedding day or shade from the sunshine on a hot summers day!
The nearby Wollescote Park is also a great setting for some photograph opportunities.
